Warranty Framework

All products sold by MachinesDock are covered by the warranty provided by the original manufacturer, publisher, or vendor. You acknowledge that:

  • MachinesDock does not manufacture the products
  • MachinesDock does not provide independent or extended warranties unless expressly stated in writing
  • Warranty terms, duration, and coverage vary by manufacturer
  • All warranty claims are subject to manufacturer policies and processes

Where applicable, MachinesDock may assist in facilitating warranty claims on a reasonable efforts basis.

Warranty Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim, the Client must:

  • Provide proof of purchase (invoice or order reference)
  • Provide detailed description of the issue
  • Follow manufacturer troubleshooting steps (if required)
  • Return the product only if authorised (RMA approval required)

MachinesDock may require the product to be inspected by the manufacturer or authorised service provider before any resolution is confirmed.

Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA)

No returns will be accepted without prior written approval and issuance of a valid RMA number. Conditions:

  • RMA requests must be submitted within applicable manufacturer warranty periods
  • Products must be returned in original or acceptable packaging (where applicable)
  • Items returned without RMA may be rejected and returned to sender at Client’s cost

MachinesDock reserves the right to refuse RMA requests where manufacturer conditions are not met.

Returns Eligibility

Returns may only be accepted in the following cases:

  • Manufacturer defect (as confirmed by vendor)
  • Incorrect product supplied (verified against order)
  • Transit damage reported within required inspection period (as per Shipping Terms)

Returns are not accepted for: Change of mind, incorrect ordering by the Client, products that have been installed, modified, or used (unless manufacturer allows), or custom, configured, or special-order items.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are strictly non-returnable unless explicitly approved:

  • Custom-built or configured systems
  • Special-order or made-to-order products
  • Software licenses (once delivered or activated)
  • Clearance or end-of-life stock
  • Products outside manufacturer return eligibility window

Inspection & Condition Requirements

Returned goods must:

  • Be in original condition (where applicable)
  • Include all accessories, packaging, and documentation
  • Not show physical damage caused after delivery

MachinesDock reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet manufacturer or supplier return standards.

Refunds & Replacements

Where a return is approved:

  • Replacement may be issued (subject to stock availability)
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed after supplier confirmation
  • Refund timelines depend on manufacturer approval and payment processing cycles

MachinesDock is not responsible for delays caused by third-party vendors.

Warranty Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • MachinesDock disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for purpose
  • MachinesDock is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product failure
  • Warranty coverage is strictly limited to manufacturer obligations

Dead on Arrival (DOA)

DOA claims must be reported within the manufacturer-defined DOA window, as defined by the applicable manufacturer or vendor DOA policy (typically 7–14 days). Requirements:

  • Immediate notification upon receipt
  • Diagnostic confirmation may be required
  • Replacement is subject to vendor approval

Failure to report within the applicable timeframe may void DOA eligibility.

Freight & Return Shipping Costs

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Client
  • MachinesDock is not responsible for transit damage during return shipments
  • In approved cases, manufacturer may cover return logistics costs

Manufacturer Control

You acknowledge that:

  • All warranty handling is ultimately controlled by the manufacturer or supplier
  • MachinesDock acts only as an intermediary for coordination
  • Manufacturer decisions are final in relation to warranty claims

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MachinesDock shall not be liable for:

  • Product failure or defect
  • Loss of use or business interruption
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Third-party manufacturer delays or refusal of warranty claims

Consumer Law Notice

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. Where such laws apply, MachinesDock’s liability is limited, at its discretion, to:

  • Replacement of goods
  • Repair of goods
  • Refund of purchase price
  • Re-supply of services (if applicable)
