01

Delivery Model

MachinesDock operates under a multi-vendor procurement model. Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, shipments are delivered under Incoterms 2020 (DAP or equivalent as applicable). As such:

  • Products may ship directly from manufacturers, distributors, or regional warehouses
  • Orders may be fulfilled in multiple shipments
  • Consolidated delivery is not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in writing
02

Shipping Methods

Depending on product type, location, and supplier, delivery may be executed via:

  • Courier services (domestic & international)
  • Freight / pallet shipping (large or bulk orders)
  • Manufacturer direct dispatch
  • Third-party logistics providers

MachinesDock does not guarantee a specific carrier unless stated in writing.

03

Delivery Timeframes

All delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to:

  • Supplier stock availability
  • Manufacturer lead times
  • Customs clearance delays
  • Transport or logistics disruptions
  • Component shortages or allocation programs

MachinesDock is not responsible for delays outside its reasonable control.

04

Risk, Title & Responsibility

Risk in the goods passes to the Client upon delivery to the nominated address or upon collection by the Client’s nominated carrier, whichever occurs first. Title to goods shall remain with MachinesDock until full payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Once goods are dispatched:

  • To the extent permitted by law, MachinesDock shall not be liable for transit loss, theft, or damage once goods have been handed to the carrier or supplier logistics partner.
  • Any transit claims or transit insurance options must be raised directly with the carrier and/or supplier (where applicable).
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring accurate delivery details.
05

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges may include:

  • Standard delivery fees
  • Freight charges for bulky or high-value items
  • Insurance (if applicable and requested)
  • Handling or special packaging fees

All shipping costs are confirmed at the time of quotation or invoice unless otherwise agreed.

06

International Shipping

For international deliveries:

  • Orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees
  • These charges are the responsibility of the Client unless otherwise stated
  • Delivery times may be extended due to customs clearance processes
  • Compliance with local import regulations is the Client’s responsibility
07

Split Shipments

MachinesDock may ship orders in multiple consignments if:

  • Products are sourced from different suppliers
  • Items have different availability timelines
  • Partial fulfillment improves delivery efficiency

Clients will be notified where practicable.

08

Delivery Acceptance

Clients are responsible for inspecting goods upon delivery. Any visible damage, shortage, or discrepancy must be reported within the seven (7) business days inspection window specified in the Terms & Conditions (Product Acceptance clause). Failure to notify within this fallback period constitutes complete delivery acceptance and may impact eligibility for claims or replacements.

09

Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Unavailability of recipient
  • Customs clearance failure (international shipments)

Additional charges for re-delivery or storage may apply.

10

Force Majeure (Shipping Impact)

Shipping timelines may be affected by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Freight disruptions
  • Strikes or labour shortages
  • Government restrictions or sanctions
  • Global supply chain interruptions

MachinesDock will make reasonable efforts to mitigate delays but assumes no liability for such events.

11

Tracking & Updates

Where available, tracking information will be provided once products are dispatched. However:

  • Tracking availability depends on supplier and carrier systems
  • Some direct manufacturer shipments may have limited tracking visibility. MachinesDock does not guarantee real-time tracking accuracy where shipments are fulfilled directly by manufacturers or third-party logistics providers.
